Capture of the Competition and 2nd Place in Best 7 – Sacosu Turcesc

Last weekend, the team Myon Baits attended the event Best 7, organized on the well-known Balta Sacoșu Turkish. It was an extremely demanding game of carp fishing in difficult weather conditions with cold rain, strong wind and unstable atmospheric pressure – a real test for any keen angler. Despite all these challenges, we managed to achieve catch of the competition – a common carp of 29 kg, but also 2nd place in the overall ranking, a result that motivates us even more to move forward. This fish also represents a new personal record for me

Difficult weather conditions and a strategic approach

The fish were extremely reluctant throughout the competition. Activity on the ford was reduced and nada responses were noticeably delayed. In such conditions, we had to approach the game with maximum finesse, adaptability and patience.

Every decision mattered and adjustments made in real time were essential. For the nadir, we used a carefully chosen mix adapted to high pressure conditions:

• Boilies Red Brutality 16 mm, launched from spomb, to create a nutritious, visually and attractive sedge bed, ideal for cold and pressured areas of the pond.

• Boilies Red Brutality 24 mm, as only cobra baiting was allowed at night and long distances required heavy and stable lures, the 24mm size was essential to accurately reach the ford.

Most traits came on fine mounts, balanced with bags PVA Myon Baits Brutality Red PRO, an extremely effective solution in cold and pressurized water. Also, some of the most important catches were obtained with Red Brutality Balanced Criticisms, baits specially designed for situations where fish refuse classic bait.

The 29 kg catch – a landmark in my fishing career

On a morning with low temperatures and fluctuating atmospheric pressure, activity on the ford was almost non-existent. At that point, I decided to change tactics and launch a balanced mount, with PVA Brutality PRO bag + Pop-Up Hybrid Red Habibi 11 mm. The result was incredible: after a powerful drill, a massive common carp of 29 kg was brought to the mat. It wasn't just that the official catch of the competition, but also biggest carp ever caught by me, a new one personal best truly memorable.

Although I am still at the beginning of the road in competitive fishing, with the help of the Myon Baits team and the products developed by this brand, I managed to break my own personal record. The support of colleagues and confidence in the adopted strategy made this result possible.

What made the difference? Strategy, decoys and execution

• Brutality Red PVA mix was the key to success – rapid dispersal and increased attractiveness around the hook.

• Pop-Up Hybrid Red Habibi 11 mm it offered balanced buoyancy and a strong flavor of Squid, Octopus & Strawberry, impossible to ignore for carp.

• Red Brutality Balanced Criticisms they offered versatility and discretion, managing to trigger traits when other decoys failed.

• Fine and balanced mounts, tested in hundreds of hours of fishing, integrated perfectly into our overall strategy.

2nd place – a confirmation of constancy and professionalism

In addition to the trophy catch, we were able to maintain constant activity on the ford through a sustained effort of analysis, observation and adjustment. This brought us 2nd place in the final ranking – an important success that validates the effectiveness of Myon Baits strategies in the most difficult carp fishing conditions. Every mount, every pitch and every pitch mattered.

Conclusion – When passion meets the right equipment

This match was a lesson in how patience, adaptability and trust in Myon Baits products can turn a tough competition into an unforgettable experience. Even in the most difficult conditions, the right solutions exist, and the results are not slow to appear. Thank you Myon Baits for the tools that always give us a competitive edge.

Cheers to everyone!
