Captura Competitiei și Locul 2 la Best 7 – Sacosu Turcesc

Verseny Capture és 2. hely a Best 7 – Sacosu Turcesc

Last weekend, the team Myon Baits participated in the event Best 7, organized on the well-known Balta Sacoșu Turcesc. It was an extremely demanding carp fishing match, under difficult weather conditions, with cold rains, strong wind, and unstable atmospheric pressure – a real test for any passionate angler. Despite these challenges, we managed to achieve the competition catch – a 29 kg common carp, but also second place in the overall ranking, a result that motivates us even more to keep going. This fish also represents an all-time personal record for me.

Difficult weather conditions and a strategic approach

Fish appeared extremely hesitant throughout the entire competition. Activity on the swim was reduced, and responses to bait were visibly delayed. In such conditions, we had to approach the match with maximum finesse, adaptability, and patience.

Every decision mattered, and adjustments made in real-time were essential. For baiting, we used a carefully selected mix, adapted to high-pressure conditions:

  • Boilies Red Brutality 16 mm, launched from spomb, to create a nutritious, visual, and attractive bait bed, ideal for the cold and pressed areas of the swim.

  • Boilies Red Brutality 24 mm, because at night only pop-up fishing was allowed, and large distances required heavy and stable baits, the 24 mm size was crucial for accurate placement.

Most catches came on fine, balanced rigs with PVA bags Myon Baits Brutality Red PRO, a highly effective solution in cold, pressured waters. Additionally, some of the most important catches were achieved with Balanced Criticals Red Brutality, specially designed hookbaits for situations when fish refuse traditional bait.

A 29 kg catch – a milestone in my fishing career

on a morning with low temperatures and fluctuating atmospheric pressure, activity on the swim was almost nonexistent. At that moment, I decided to change tactics and to launch a balanced rig with PVA Bag Brutality PRO + Pop-Up Hybrid Red Habibi 11 mm. The result was incredible: after a powerful strike, a massive 29 kg common carp was brought to the net. This was not only the official catch of the competition, but also the biggest carp ever caught by me, a new personal best truly memorable.

Although I am just at the beginning of my competitive fishing journey, with the help of the Myon Baits team and products developed by this brand, I managed to break my own personal record. The support of colleagues and confidence in the strategy adopted made this achievement possible.

What made the difference? Strategy, bait, and execution

  • The PVA Mix Brutality Red was the key to success – quick dispersal and increased attractiveness around the rig.

  • The Hybrid Red Habibi 11 mm Pop-Up offered balanced buoyancy and a strong aroma of Squid, Octopus & Strawberry, impossible for carp to ignore.

  • Balanced Criticals Red Brutality provided versatility and discreteness, able to trigger strikes when other baits failed.

  • Fine, balanced rigs, tested over hundreds of hours of fishing, seamlessly integrated into our overall strategy.

Second place – a confirmation of consistency and professionalism

In addition to the trophy catch, we managed to maintain constant activity on the swim through persistent effort in analysis, observation, and adjustment. This brought us second place in the final ranking – an important achievement that validates the effectiveness of Myon Baits strategies in the toughest carp fishing conditions. Every rig, every bait, and every cast counted.

Conclusion – When passion meets the right equipment

This session was a lesson on how patience, adaptability, and confidence in Myon Baits products can transform a tough competition into an unforgettable experience. Even in the most difficult conditions, the right solutions exist, and results are bound to follow. We thank Myon Baits for the tools that always give us a competitive advantage.

To all fishing lines!
